Wineglass Bay & Hazards Beach Circuit Walking Tour

Join us for an unforgettable journey into the heart of Freycinet National Park. This 5.5 hour guided walking tour takes you through one of Tasmania’s most popular National Parks - Freycinet National Park. You'll will explore the stunning Wineglass Bay and Hazards Beaches whilst listening to information of the flora and fauna you see along the way from our enthusiastic guides. 

Covering approximately 11 km, the walk is suitable for those with a higher level of fitness. The track is undulating with many stairs, sections up and down, tree roots and rocks to navigate around. Along the way, our experienced guides will share fascinating insights into the park’s rich history, unique geology, diverse flora and fauna, and the deep cultural significance of the land to Tasmania’s Indigenous people. We will stop along the way to enjoy morning tea break including tea & coffee and a small snack, and for lunch. 

Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a history buff, or simply seeking an authentic Tasmanian experience, this guided walk offers the perfect blend of adventure, education, and scenery. 

Tour Details: 

• Departure: 9am 

• Duration: Approximately 5.5 hours 

• Distance: Approximately 11 km 

• Start/Finish: Freycinet Lodge reception 

• Includes: Local guide, morning tea, lunch (wrap or similar), transfer to and from Freycinet Lodge to Wineglass Bay carpark 

• Fitness Level: Guests must have at least a moderate level of fitness (the walk is about 11km, involves many steps, uphill and downhill sections, sections with tree roots and rocks, on a gravel path, with an average elevation gain of 370m)

Please note: 

• Online Bookings conclude 12 hours prior to the tour departure time 

• Minimum of 4 guests are required for a tour to proceed 

• Valid National Parks Pass is required for all guests and is not included in the tour 

• 15% surcharge is applied for bookings on Public Holidays 

• 5% surcharge is applied for bookings on Saturdays 

• 9% surcharge is applied for bookings on Sundays
